Let us start by introducion you to Istanbul’s most incredible classics. Upon pick up from your hotel transferred to Sultan Ahment Square. Today You will explore; 

Hagia Sophia: One of the greatest marvels of architecture,hagia Sophia was founded as basilica in the 6th century.Built by the order of Byzantine Emperor Justinianus,St Sophia was largest cathedral in the world for nearly thousand years;it is considered the masterpiece of Byzantine architecture.After being considered the Patriarchal Basilica of Constantinople,it was converted into a mosque in 1453 by Sultan Mehmet ll.The conqueror,which led to adding the minarets,tombs and fountains.In 1935 it was turned into a museum by Ataturk,and thats how it reminds nowadays

Blue Mosque:Facing Hagia Sophia,famous for its blue Iznik tiles and its unique six minarets,the Blue Mosque was built in the same of Sultan Ahmet.This is the last great imperial mosque of the classic period.The name for which is commonly now known.Blue Mosque,comes from the 20.000 marvellous blue-toned Iznik tiles decorating the interior walls.

Hipodrome of Constantinople: Its a former center of sportive events(chariot races for example) and political activities of the old city.The obelisk of Theodosius,the serpentine Column,and the German Fountain of Wilhelm ll are the monuments that you can find and leran more about while visiting the Hipodrome

Caferaga Madrasa: The Madrasa,a building usually used to teach the theory of Islam,offers several handicraft workshops including the marbling(Ebru)a popular turkish art,painting,jewelery,porcelain,calligraphy,Ottoman language,ceramicks and stained glass.If you are more into music,you can learn to play reed flute(Ney),guitarand letu(Ud).Caferaga Medresesi is popular place for both Turkish and foreign artists to study tradational Turkish arts.

Topkapi Palace: This extra ordinarary and full of secrets,palace was the residance of the Imperial Ottoman Sultans and center of the Ottoman Ampire for nearly 400 yeras.The building is a typcial example of Ottoman architecture and the rooms exhibits rich collections of porcelains,robes,weapons,shields,armours,Ottoman miniatures,Islamic calligraphic manuscripts as well as Ottoman treasures and jewellery.

Note: The treasury and harem sections are not included in the program and due to extra entrance fees.

Grand Bazaar:One of the largest covered markets in the world with more than 60 streets and 5000 shops,where you will find in an authentic oriental atmosphere,all kind of gifts,leather clothing,rugs,antiques,jewellery,hand-woven fabrics etc…
